Copycat Starbucks brown sugar oat milk expresso iced latte

I have realized that I am a barista. Starbuck's has a new drink that I've been loving, however it's hard to justify $6 for a cup of coffe. So, I turned to google to find a copy cat recipe. This one is amazing. I make the syrup ahead of time and put it in the fridge for later use. This makes enough syrup for about 4-6 drinks so you can probably cut it in half if you want less. Brown sugar syrup: - 3/4 cup water (12 tablespoons) - 1 tsp ground cinnamon - 1-1.5 tsp vanilla extract - 1/2 cup lightly packed brown sugar (8 tablespoons) - can do more or less to taste 1. In a small pot or frying pan, add all the syrup ingredients on medium-high heat, whisking to combine. Once it starts to simmer, lower the heat to medium-low and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently, until sugar has completely dissolved and the syrup has thickened just slightly. Remove from the heat and set aside. 2. Brew 2 shots of expresso or about 1/2 cup of very strong coffee. Add 3 tsbp (or 3.5 tbs, to taste is fine) of syrup and a few ice cups and shake vigorously for 1 minute. 3. Add desired amount of oat milk to top it off. I did about 1/2-1 cup. Enjoy!
